Founded in 2005, Los Angeles based Autumn Tone Records has set its sights on uncovering, and in some cases, widely introducing artists whose craft transcends the boundaries of trend, genre, and we hope… time.
Still in our infancy, Autumn Tone’s first dual-release was a re-issue of Daniel Hutchens hauntingly beautiful, acoustic album “Lesser,” and his David Barbe produced follow-up, “Lovesongs For Losers.” Our third release, “Shadows Rise” is the debut LP from the folk-noir outfit Travel By Sea who are currently working on its follow-up. “Days of My Escape,” set for a late Summer/early Fall ‘07 release.
Independently owned and operated, Autumn Tone was started by Justin Gage, who also writes the popular music blog An Aquarium Drunkard, and host the weekly Aquarium Drunkard Show on SIRIUS Satellite Radio.
